About Vibriti

Vibriti is a platform that connects celebrities with their fans through personal video messages they record individually. The user seeks a celeb of their choice and books a video request. The celeb gets the request, records the video message, and sends it to the recipient through the platform. The user can then share the video on social media platforms or download it to their device.

Project goal

We delivered backend web app and a mobile app. The cooperation began with discussion and workshop to understand the scope and determine the MVP. After delivering the MVP to validate the product and business case, we started working on the whole solution.

Roles in the project

General problem

The goal was to build a platform for web and mobile with purpose to connect fans with their idols. The app should have integrated payments, allow sharing to social media platforms. There are several kinds of users defined within the app, such as Admin, Artist, Fan, Anonymous (for those users who do not want to register).

Each of the users has a slightly different user interface and functionalities available. Once the user fills in the request for video, Artist is notified with push notification and email about new order. Artists can record the videos within the app or can upload previously recorded file. When the video is uploaded, the user (Fan) receives a notification about completed order.

What we have learned

– Taking into account all of the scenarios and adjusting accordingly.
– Fast time of reaction is crucial.
– Social apps need to handle large number of users at the same time.

– Video set up allowing making video within the app or with the use of camera roll in the phone
